ARMING A SYSTEM AS AN EXTRA USER OR MANAGER
Before you can arm the alarm system, all intrusion zones must be secure. If a zone on the premises is ‘open,’
that is its doors, windows, etc., are not properly closed, you will not be able to set the alarm in that zone, and
the message ‘Open zones’ will appear on the display. It will also show you which zone(s) is/are open. You
must then close these doors and windows.
1. Go to the keypad. The current date and time appear on the
display. An example is shown.

2. Press the 0 key and then enter your code. A ‘*’ appears in
the display for every key you press. Use the 0 key to cancel
an incorrect entry and to restart a new entry code.

This is the first menu option from which you can make a
selection.

3. Press the accept key to use the option list.

The arrow appears to indicate that it is now possible to
inhibit zones using the ‘áá’ key. See ‘Arming with open
zones as an extra user or manager’ on page 22nd.

The beeper begins to beep. This means that the exit time is
starting.
If the system cannot arm, the text ‘Open Zones’ appears.
Close the zones displayed or go to ‘Arming with open
zones as an extra user or manager’ on page 22nd.
Beeeep
The system will now begin the arming procedure.
Area 1 Arming
The arming procedure has begun and you can now leave
the secured area.
Leave now
The system is now armed.
Area1 Armed
The current date and time appear automatically.
